It's going to be a whole new way of looking at something that's been around for more than a century. Officials at the Albany Institute of History and Art are putting the final touches on their highly-anticipated "Mystery of the Albany Mummies" exhibit - all centered around the two mummies that have been on continuous display since 1909. Through a very fortuitous set of circumstances, Egyptologist Dr. Peter Lacovara was able to find two pieces of the coffin originally buried with one of the mummies several thousand years ago and helped bring everything together for the first time in more than a century.
For years, museum officials thought they had a male and a female. But recent high-tech scans at Albany Med showed that both were male, and one was a priest and sculptor.
