An Amsterdam man is facing rape charges near the Schoharie Boat Launch, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Justin Milonovich, 46, of Amsterdam was arrested on Tuesday, July 22 and charged with Rape (3rd Degree). Authorities say that the Sheriff’s Office received a complaint on July 13 from the girl victim who said that on Friday, July 11, Milonovich allegedly had sexual intercourse without her consent in a wooded area at the Schoharie Boat Launch located at 195 Hartley Lane in the Town of Glen. The victim was treated at St. Mary’s Hospital, investigators said.

Milonovich was arraigned at the Town of Glen Court by Justice James Law and sent to the Montgomery County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 Bond. The investigation was conducted by Inv. Theresa Pingitore with the assistance from the Amsterdam Police Department, Sexual Assault Support Services  and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
