Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy is not going to be on Governor Cuomo's re-election ticket. The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle first reported that the former Mayor and Police Chief of Rochester has decided to bow out after this term.

Rumors had been rampant and reports are Duffy wants to travel less, has back problems and he recently bought a waterfront Finger Lakes home for his family. Duffy says this was his decision and there is no conflict with the Governor – despite rumors to the contrary. No word on a replacement.
