Another twist for the demolition of the old Wellington Annex in downtown Albany.
Columbia Development now says it is postponing the implosion of the 11-story building until Saturday morning.
Company president Joe Nicolla says this will mean fewer disruptions on downtown streets. Also, the company handling it, Maryland-based Controlled Demolition, is available now on Saturday.
The building is coming down to make way for the $66 million Albany Capital Center at Howard and Eagle Streets.
