Clay Travis: London Will Have NFL Team Within Three Years

“The atmosphere was phenomenal… I love the idea of regular morning football in London and I think the ratings would do really well. They’re going to have a team in London in the next three years.”

-- Clay Travis.

After spending the weekend in London and attending the thrilling Chargers vs. Titans game at Wembley Stadium, Clay Travis says he’s come to the conclusion that the city is ready for an NFL franchise within three years.

Travis says he felt a profound energy throughout the city leading up to the game and believes the metropolitan area of over 8 million people could get behind an American football team more passionately than a handful of NFL cities that have been completely disillusioned with their teams for years.

Listen to the full audio below as Clay thinks the Jaguars and Chargers could be the two major players in Roger Goodell and the NFL finally executing a move the league has been obsessive about for nearly two decades.
