Mission Continues at the Albany Damien Center

In 1988, the Albany Damien Center was founded during the height of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Years later there are fewer deaths and there's a great hope for the future of those living with the disease. But the Albany Damien Center is still working to improve the lives of those who are ill, noting that for some people a diagnosis leads to more isolation and financial hardships. In this interview Executive Director Perry Junjulas talks with Diane Donato about their housing, food, and social resources as well as their push to help prevent new infections.
