Alabama's Defense Shouldn't be Overlooked

Alabama's offense has been scoring nearly 50 points a game with Heisman front runner Tua Tagovailoa at the helm. When has Alabama ever had a offense that is this dominate under Nick Saban? Alabama currently has a top five offense that ranks T-28th in rushing yards per a game at 215.8 and 7th in passing yards a game at 323.7. This offensive explosion, for good reasons, has remained the headline thus far in Alabama's run for back to back National Championships but let's not completely ignore the defense. The defense is a staple for Alabama's success, over Nick Saban's 12 years as Head Coach he has produced an abundance of NFL talent on the defensive side of the ball. Alabama's defense made history shutting out top 25 teams in back to back games for the first time in their programs history. After shutting out formerly ranked #3 LSU 29-0, and previously ranked #16 Mississippi St 24-0, it is finally time to recognize this defense for the dominance they display. Listen below as Touchdown Alabama's Stephen Smith (managing editor) joins the show to talk more about the brilliant display of dominance by the defense and their new catchy hashtag. #NoPointsNovember
