Ohio State was up 16-0 with just under five minutes to go in the second quarter when the first controversial call came into question. On 3rd down Ohio State CB Shaun Wade flew in for a sack on Trevor Lawrence, who appeared to lower his head to brace for impact, was flagged and ejected for targeting.
