The Brooklyn Nets have always been considered the second fiddle when it comes to the NYC NBA scene. Even when the Nets resided in New Jersey, it was the Knicks that ruled the Metropolitan area. Well it appears as if the tides have changed the Knicks have seen the Nets make back to back playoff appearance plus add Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant in free agency. As if that wasn't enough of a heartbreak for Knicks fans we watched as the Nets paired their two superstars with a unique coaching staff, newly crowned HC Steve Nash with his uber talented coaching staff of Mike D'Antoni, Amar'e Stoudemire, Ime Udoka (spent seven of last eight seasons under Greg Popovich) and Jacque Vaughn. With all that being said do the Knicks need to make a splashy move like trading for a superstar such as Russel Westbrook who would immediately turn the attention back to the Knicks while expediting their plan back to relevancy?
