IHeartMedia Albany and WOFX 95.9/980AM are proud to announce the addition of the New York Jets to the station's programming lineup.
Led by All-Pro quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the 2024 New York Jets season is set to be one of the most exciting in its franchise's history.
All seventeen regular season games including pre- and post-game shows will be heard on The Voice of the Capital Region Sports Fan, 95.9 and 980AM. The 2024 regular season kicks off with the team's opening game on Monday September 9th. OFX's coverage is set to begin at 6:15pm with kick off against the San Francisco 49ers set for 815pm.
WOFX Program Director and afternoon host Tom "Goz" Goslowski said this in regard to adding the Jets. "We are thrilled to begin this partnership with the New York Jets. Capital Region sports fans can now listen to the most entertaining NFL team this season across the 518 with the arrival of the Jets"
WOFX's sister station PYX106 will continue to remain the broadcast home for the New York Giants in the Capital Region.
Fox Sports 980/95.9/103.1 HD-2's lineup also includes their local afternoon show, Levack and Goz weekdays 3-6pm. WGY and WOFX will continue to serve as the home for Syracuse Football and Syracuse basketball this fall.
