The game, originally scheduled for Friday (May 9), will now take place on Saturday (May 10) at 6:30 p.m. at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy. The evening will feature postgame fireworks and a magnet schedule giveaway for fans.
According to ValleyCats manager Greg Tagert, the decision to postpone was made to ensure a better experience for both fans and players. "The last thing we want to do is have the experience not be great for the fans," Tagert said. Tri-City general manager Matt Callahan confirmed the postponement on Thursday, citing the rainy forecast.
Tickets for the postponed game can be redeemed for any 2025 ValleyCats home game, subject to availability.
