Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders was the talk of the sports world for the past few months with everyone speculating on where he would land in the NFL Draft. It turns out that his detractors may have had it right as the controversial prospect did not get selected in the first round. Dropping out of the first round of the NFL Draft after all that hype must be a tough pill to swallow for a kid who had “legendary” splashed all over his walls.
Dan Patrick: “(Shedeur Sanders) got humbled yesterday, he did. And if you go back to when we had Deion (Sanders) on when we were at the Super Bowl, it was like; are you telling teams to not draft your son? And I mean, there was a big deal about; he’s not going to go play for those teams, is he going to pull an Eli Manning? But he got humbled.”
